Breakfast With Treasurer Cowell
October 24, 2012,Raleigh–NCCEE hosted a breakfast event featuring the Honorable Janet Cowell, Treasurer, State of North Carolina. A group of about 120 finance industry professionals gathered at NCSU’s University Club to hear Treasurer Cowell discuss the challenges and successes of managing a retirement system with assets totaling more than $74 billion during a recession and volatile markets. She also discussed the importance of financial education for all of North Carolina’s citizens.
