NCCEE Announces the 2015 Econ Challenge Winners.

Raleigh, NC – NCCEE announces the 2015 NCCEE Economics Challenge State Champions. The NC Economics Challenge was held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch on March 30. Congratulations to our winning teams and finalists! The Adam Smith Division winners were Team Marvin Rich from Marvin Ridge High School in Union County. The David Ricardo Division winners were Team Unicorn 2 from the NC School of Science and Math in Durham. Both teams will proceed to the Southeast US Regional Competitions in their respective divisions. Winners of the regional competitions will proceed to New York in May! We also honor Team Free Marketeers from Ardrey Kell High School in Mecklenburg County, second place, and Team Deadwieight Loss from William G. Enloe High School in Wake County, third place in the Adam Smith Division, Team Bertie Botts in second place and Team Expelliarmus in third place from Myers Park High School in Mecklenburg County. NCCEE wishes to thank the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond for hosting the program.
