EPF Institute: A Greater Impact with Each Year

In 2019, the EPF Institute was developed in response to North Carolina passing House Bill 924, making Economics and Personal Finance a mandatory course for high school students. The impact so far? To date, 1,773 North Carolina educators have improved their comprehension and confidence in teaching the course by attending the 40-hour training.  
Every year, 305,972 North Carolina students will benefit from better prepared teachers who have completed the institute. In addition to this, 91% of teachers plan to invest more for retirement or are already well invested and 92% of teachers plan to pay down unsecured debt or do not have unsecured debt.
